Grand Mercure Hongqiao witnesses the Tourism Cooperation between Chengdu and Shanghai

August 28^th 2010, Shanghai – Grand Mercure Hongqiao Shanghai honorably host the cooperation agreement signing ceremony between Shanghai Tourism Bureau and Si Chuan Tourism Bureau for promoting "twin cities of Chengdu and Shanghai Tour". This week Sichuan Cultural Week showcased in Expo Site, the signing of the cooperation agreement symbolized the campaign of promoting Si Chuan tours is officially launched, named as "Visit World Expo, and welcome to Sichuan – experience the fascinating heritage and culture".

2010 is the Expo Year, with the tourism influence of World Expo, Sichuan provincial government hope to further enhance the overall image of the Sichuan Culture and Tourism. Sichuan government tried to promote Sichuan tourism by the combination of Expo travel and Sichuan tour, Cultural Experience and sightseeing, as well as "Travel Sichuan, Panda hometown - Sichuan is amusing" the themed promotion offered by different cities in Sichuan province for the tourism campaign of "Visit World Expo, and welcome to Sichuan – experience the fascinating heritage and culture".
