August 15^th, 2009, Shanghai – The Grand Mercure Hongqiao Shanghai is proud to announce a recent appealing Wedding Show at the hotel and 60 betrothed pairs were invited to attend.

During the 1-Day event, The Grand Mercure Hongqiao Shanghai showcased its substantial Wedding expertise and facilities, which includes a dedicated wedding planning team, innovative and stylish themes and decorations, unique and elegant venues (our grand ballroom), in addition to the hotel’s delicious hous d’oeuvres including a decadent chocolate fountain.

This show offered the newest ideas in wedding planning and table setups, included three themes: Lily White, China Red, and Grand Mercure Purple. Also, highlighting the latest trends in floral design, we also had the honor to have Floral Designer from France exclusively presented an exceptional live demonstration of Bouquet creation.

Three lucky gentlemen were awarded with the Bouquet. We guess probably the atmosphere was so inspirational and soaked up our guests, one of the gentlemen who actually proposed on the stage with the Bouquet to his girlfriend and won himself a big “YES”. That was the biggest surprise of the show, everyone was touched.
